Shades of Dambu - 2013
An illustration inspired by the beautiful indigenous people of the Himba tribes of Namibia. The Himba term "dambu" designate a range of colors varying through greens, reds, beige and yellows. Strangely enough, this term is also used to designate a Caucasian person. The majority of the sculpting work was done in Mudbox, textured in Photoshop and rendered in Octane Render standalone.
